This is a hand-tatted choker made with green thread, small red beads in the shape of strawberries, and white beads to represent the white flowers on strawberry plants. The thread used is thinner, giving a delicate look. This choker has a 2 bead center and measures from clasp to chain: 13 inches. The smallest setting is 10.25 inches, and the tatting design measures 9 inches. Tatting can stretch when worn often, but still keeps the beautiful looped design. What is tatting, you ask? It is a hand lace-making technique that can be done with a specialized needle or a shuttle. All of my chokers are made using the needle method.
