This is a hand-tatted choker made with black thread and silver metal skull beads. The beads do have some weight to them. The thread used is thicker, giving a chonky look. This choker has a 2 bead center and measures from clasp to chain: 15.5 inches. The smallest setting is 12.25 inches, and the tatting design measures 11 inches. Tatting can stretch when worn often, but still keeps the beautiful looped design. What is tatting, you ask? It is a hand lace-making technique that can be done with a specialized needle or a shuttle. All of my chokers are made using the needle method.
